Ronald McDonald House Ottawa is designed to provide a highly inclusive, barrier-free environment. We have accessible suites and kitchen, an elevator, braille wayfinding, visual fire alarms, loop hearing devices in our meeting rooms.

- Barrier-Free Suites: Equipped with wider doorways, roll-in showers, and height-adjusted fixtures.
- Accessible Communal Areas: Shared kitchens, dining spaces, and playrooms designed to accommodate mobility aids comfortably.
- Emergency Features: Visual fire alarms and stair travel devices to ensure safe evacuations.
- Assistive Devices and Support: Welcoming policies for assistive devices and dedicated support persons, compliant with local legislation like the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA)
